Friends,
One of the challenges we face in serving a global audience is that general terms like “day” - ie “our free-trial allows 2,500 requests per day” require specific definition. Our day is based on the “Coordinated Universal Time” timezone, often abbreviated as “UTC”. UTC is a global standard and has the benefit of not having summer and winter time.
UTC does have one obvious negative though, and that is that most people don’t know what the current time is in UTC off the top of their head. To help solve that we have now added a page where you can check what the current UTC time is.
We hope this proves useful.
Happy geocoding,
Final thing - if timezones are your thing, don’t forget that we also offer
the timezone
annotation in our results.
