we’ve updated the look and functionality of our status page, status.opencagedata.com, the page where you can see how our services are operating.
We are now hosting the status page with Instatus. Beyond a cleaner look, the new status page has a great functionality: whenever there is an outage you can subscribe to get updates via email, Slack notifications, or via a webhook. We do our best to keep outages to an absolute minimum (see our 2020 uptime report), but in the rare event there is a problem we’ll keep you informed. Many thanks to Instatus for the useful features.
I should note though that one thing hasn’t changed: all of the service measurements are performed by an independent, 3rd-party service (StatusCake).
