Hi friends,

good news, we continue to fill our already extensive list of geocoding tutorials and SDKs for our geocoding API.

Thanks to our friend Arnaud Ferrand we now have a tutorial for integrating an OpenCage search box into an OpenLayers map

This is great as the long-running OpenLayers project seems to have recently regained momentum with the release of their new version 6. Congrats to all involved, it is great to see open source mapping technologies continue to be pushed forward.

But wait, that’s not all!

Arnaud also whipped up an an SDK for running geocoding queries on Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare’s recently launched serverless platform. Learn more about Cloudflare Workers.

Thank you, Arnaud!

Both the OpenLayers tutorial and the Cloudflare Workers SDK are open-source, I am sure Arnaud would welcome all pull requests.

You can find a direct link to the tutorial (and tutorials and libraries for many other programming languages) on our code page. If we don’t yet have an SDK for your programming language of choice, please let us know, or better, please write and open-source your own (please see our library guidelines), which we will gladly feature here.

Happy geocoding, whichever language you are using to access our geocoding API
