I am proud to share that this year we continue our annual tradition (now seven years in a row!) of an end-of-year donation to the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT).
Sadly there is no shortage of disasters for HOT’s volunteer mappers to be involved in - the extreme flooding in Valencia being a recent tragic example.
This year HOT is organizing a global event - a 24-hour “mapathon” taking place on the 4th of December, and I encourage you to join me in taking part. Get involved, help map, and learn more about the work the HOT community is doing.
Thank you to all of our customers around the world, small and large, who make it possible for us to again support HOT - and give back to the OpenStreetMap community in other ways as well.
